As from now, each Gould 3196 is fitted with an intelligent system
that continuously measures
the vibrations and the temperature of the bearings. As soon as a predefined
limit is exceeded you will immediately be warned by means of an alarm light.
In this way fast action can be taken to avoid damage to
the pump, thereby avoiding costly repairs.
Further developments in the field of bearing technology and oil sump design
will ensure service for many years to come.
