Vos Rotating repairs and overhauls three-phase, low and high-voltage motors, direct-current motors, transformers, generators, permanent magnet motors en servomotors. Preventive maintenance is aimed at allowing your machinery and installations to function optimally.

Preventive maintenance helps to prevent malfunctioning and delays. It can be performed by means of inspections, minor and major servicing. With our professional personnel we can perform this maintenance work on your premises. If this is not possible, we have a fully equipped workshop at our disposal.

Dismantling and assembly

The unit is dismantled in the dismantling department, after which a mechanical inspection takes place.  All parts are then cleaned and dried in the oven. We also prepare a test report that can be used to determine whether the unit is functioning within the current standards. At this stage you will receive an overhaul proposal.

Rewinding

Our experienced rewinders command the technique of rewinding all types of motors, generators and transformers with a small, large or very large capacity. By using modern, high-quality insulation materials, your machine will be made more reliable.

In our rewinding department we offer:

• Vacuum Pressure Impregnation (VPI) installation
• Submersible impregnation basins
• Drying ovens, including electric and gas-fired ovens
• Automatic rewinding basins (various kinds)
• Burn-out ovens
• Mechanical treatmnt
• Spraying
• Turning and milling
• Drilling
• Welding
• Bushing

The lathes have a centre height of 645 mm and a centre-to-centre distance of 3000 mm.

Balancing

Balancing is performed on balancing benches with a maximum capacity of 5 tonnes, a length of 3000 mm and a  diameter of 1500 mm.

Testing position

The following are registered in the testing position:

• Insulation resistance
• Polarisation index
• Phase currents
• Vibration figures

After the overhaul the machine is tested again according to protocol before it is returned to the customer.
All measurements are protocolled.

Motor stock

For a fast delivery service, Vos Rotating always has Rotor motors in stock from 0.16kW to 300kW. We can also  keep specific motors in stock according to our customer’s wishes.

Vos Rotating is the first repair company in the Netherlands that has been certified by KEMA in accordance with the new IEC standards. We are certified to perform repairs on a number of  explosion-proof machines.Als eerste reparatiebedrijf in Nederland is Vos Rotating door KEMA gecertificeerd conform de nieuwe normen van het IEC. Wij zijn gecertificeerd om reparaties uit te voeren aan een aantal explosieveilige machines.
